Ewww nasty!

My sister and I took the kids to Mr. Gattis to eat this evening. I can tell you that I will never eat at that particular restaurant again!

Started out, the girl at the register taking money stopped right before she took our order, went to the fridge and got food to restock the salad bar without washing her hands! Does she not know how filthy money is?

We got our food and sat down, barely started eating and my son got sick and vomited ALL over the table and our food. Not the restaurants fault. BUT, it needed to be cleaned up and I didn't have the means. I went to the counter and told the girl. She said "give me a minute and I will be there", well her minute never actually came.

After waiting a good while, I got napkins, lots and lots of napkins and sopped up the vomit. They don't have trash cans in the dining room so I couldn't throw them away. I just scooted them in a pile, stacked our dishes, moved to another table and got new plates and cups. Maybe 20 minutes or longer after that another girl comes to clean tables. All this girl did was pick up the pile of vomit covered napkins and plates, and moved on to another table. She didn't even wipe it down!!!! That nasty vomit covered table "looked" clean so here comes another couple who sits down at it and starts eating!!!

So of course now i'm thinking "what is on the table that I am eating at? How clean is it really?" NASTY I have already sent a complaint in. I hope they do something.

How horrible for you! It has gotten down right scary to eat out these days. People just don't seem to care. It's a wonder we all aren't deathly ill.
I was at a local Waffle House one morning and one of the cooks scratched his private parts ( no gloves on) and didn't wash his hands, and continued to handle and cook the food ( my plate!) When the waitress brought me my plate, I told her what happened. She went into the manager's office and a few minutes later, came out, the nasty guy was called in. About 15 minutes later, he left with all of his personal stuff, minus his name tag and work stuff. We ended up getting our meal free, but I havn't been back to a Waffle House yet. * shudder*

Oh, your poor son. Wonder what was wrong that caused him to be sick.

That is horrible! I would have been down right angry. That is completely unexceptable. Was there a manager you could talk to? I wouldn't ever go there again either, uck.
