I was just looking at the nutrition sheet for zupreem rabbit food. Next to the ingredient list for the rabbit food was the ingredient list for the chinchilla food. I way just wondering what differences I would find between the 2. I found NONE. The rabbit and chinchilla foods have the same ingredients as eachother in EXACTLY the same order. That got me thinking. Would it be good to feed the chinchilla food to a rabbit? It comes in 3 and 30lb bags. Just a thought. I am going to a feed store tomorrow (today) to get some stuff and they are one the list of sellers of zupreem. I will ask about their prices. If they are reasonable I very well could be comming home with a new brand of rabbit food.

Even if the ingredients look the same, there can still be different quantities of items in the food. The Guaranteed Analysis is still different. Best to stick with the rabbit for a rabbit, and chinchilla for a chinchilla.

That is interesting, but I agree with Watermelons on this one. The guaranteed analysis is different so the individual formulations must be different. If we had a full nutritional profile (more than just what is required by AAFCO) we could do a more thorough analysis of the differences but without that it's best to stick with food formulated for rabbits.
