OK so before I share the pics I need to tell you a little about Jason's mom.
She is the PERFECT little old lady.....She bakes, cooks,is a school teacher, goes to church, owns her farm, feeds her chickens every morning, bakes for the bake sale ect ect ect ect She is the sweetest grumpiest little old school teacher you could ask for...Did I mention her name is Mary!
The purity of "Mother Mary" is so accepted by her family and friends that we have a list of words that Mary is not allowed to say...When she says something "un-Mary like" it can silence the room.....

Well with all that being said, Mother Mary believes in banning Halloween as it is a pointless holiday....But as a school teacher she was required to attend her schools fall festival... Well she needed a costume so we offered to dress her....People were so shocked they did not recognize her! She won the adult costume contest and all she did was put on a few of Jason's clothes......HA HA HA! I could have died....Here is my sweet MIL in her Halloween finest.

LOL I think your right! She had a great time and got a gift bag full of gift cards to her favorite places. The best part is she was standing next to people she has knows for 15+ years some even 20+ and until she said something NOBODY guessed it was her. This is so out of the box for her and peoples jaws dropped and all they could do was GASP "Mary???"....

Also, I really love Jason's taste in clothes. If I were normal sized/not having to look professional all the time, I would totally wear stuff like that! Unfortunately, they tend not to make the punk stuff in kids sizes!!!

Ummmm....Jason is 5.8 and 120 pounds. He wears a size 0! The outfit his mother is wearing fit her perfectly and she is 5.3 and 110 pounds. She did not even need a belt! I am sure you could find clothes in your size and if you need something smaller then a 0 well....There are doll makers out there that could make you some fine threads.:p

If you just buy a black shirt, or if you already have one, you can then just buy studs, then you put in yourself. I love buying plain things second hand, and then altering them myself. So much cheaper. :p Start searching dollar shops, and sewing shops, and find cool things to attach. If you have silver necklace chains, attach them to clothes. Zips and buckles are also easy to buy and sew on, even if you have limited sewing skills; as long as you use black thread, no one will notice crazy hand sewing! Hey, if the worst comes to the worst...superglue works!
If you're a girly girl, buy black fake roses, and attach to clothes, or put in your hair. Plenty of silver jewellery, always plenty of silver jewellery!

I love altering clothes and making them my own, can you tell? :p

I'm not! :p If I lived closer, I'd gladly swap you Dodger for some of your fancy clothes. Some of us just happen to be desperately poor students. :p Plus I'm a kiwi. Ingenuity is our middle name!
