Please critique them! Also which is the best of the 3? Thank you

I like Dippers head the best. lol
Sydney's rump looks like it's chopped in that picture.

I don't know enough about EL's so tell ya anything. XD Sorry

You posted this on RH too, the other day, am i right? ;)

Well, I'll tell you what everyone else did. The black is my favorite by far. While the bk. Tort has a nicer arch, those hips are very clearly visible and awfully prominent. She also chops off in her HQ and just looks rough in general, but I love her arch and the quick progression into it. The buck seems to have the same problem with his hips. He also seems a lot flatter than the two does.

My advice to you- invest in a quality buck, because he'll always have the most influence on your herd. You need the best you can afford, and he should be a nice, all around animal.

Also, don't be afraid of us knowing who you are on RH. It's not a huge deal as long as you continue to be respectful to our members.:D

I don't have EL but I did notice exactly what you're saying. I would sell the first buck (or not buy him if you're thinking of him) because to me he seems pet quality at most.

I had a top flemish breeder tell me that rarely does he keep a buck from his own lines because he wants the VERY BEST he can get. However - he recently got a buck from his breedings that is AWESOME and he was so excited to finally have one from his litters.

My point? Even the top breeders know enough to go elsewhere for a high quality buck for their lines - I think that is part of what makes them such good breeders.

I think respect goes a long way on all forums.

I do have to add this - I'm halfway (kinda sorta) looking for an e-lop as a pet - if I was close enough - I'd be loving on this bunny in a heartbeat and wanting to buy him off you when he retires.

I just love that face!

The black one is the best of the 3... The black however looks out of coat big time... looks like she is outside in the sun maybe?

The other 2... the 1st one is way to flat... the last one is way to narrow & looks pinched.

In my opinion if you are showing I would do the same as some one above mentioned & buy the best buck you can. Having the best herd buck is the way to go.

I think that everyone has had the same consensus here... We all agree the black is the best of the 3... but is totally out in coat... (unless it is my monitor)

I am an English Lop breeder. We have several awesome herd bucks... They have made the biggest impact on our herd. With out them we would not have the nice English we have now.

I would save some $$$ & get an awesome buck to breed to your black doe.

I think I'm going to do that. Maybe not right away, but I will be keeping my eyes open.

Right now I'm not showing due to the fact that I'm the only breeder in our area.

I bred Dipper to both does a couple days ago, so I will see what he throws.

Thanks everyone. Oprah is out of coat majorly. She is also the most aggresive lol

Ihad a ND doe that was just like that. She would like charge at you when you would go to feed her and try to get her out, but once she was out she was really sweet and would just hang out. lol

By chance... do you have a door that opens INTO the cage?

As far as the buck/doe thing goes I do the same thing. I keep only does from my own lines. I trust my lines- I trust my does. I then bring in stud bucks . You can line breed IF and ONLY IF you want to remain constant in your types. If you think you've gotten to the top and want to stay there- you line breed. If you want to make major changes quickly you outcross.

Now when I say you've gotten to the top, think of top NATIONAL breeders. i.e. Mr. Crawford for New Zealands. Many whites you see out there go back to either Crawford or Mangione (aka more Crawford). Mr. Crawford breeds heavy lines because he believes he truely is at the top and wants to remain constant.

In a sentence: get the best buck you can find that you can afford. BUT REMEMBER TO DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THE BREEDER FIRST!!!
