The shopping mall is very supportive, and every year they make up some very nice posters to advertize the show. There are radio ads put on by the local radio stations too.

Yes it was this club that got involved with the Humane Society when they took in all the bunnies. I see there are only 3 remaining at the shelter out of the 200 that were brought in.

I just thought I would mention that a great many of those rabbits were euthanized due to injuries, infections, and other conditions. so the numbers adopted out were not quite as high as the initial figure implies. Email me or any of he EARS executive for further details. Helga

So sorry to hear this. I wanted to fly up there on my air miles to see if anybunny needed me to take them home -- especially any little boy mini-rexes, seeing as I had just lost my baby Dill. :tears2:

As a former Edmontonian, happy to see you on the forum. Maybe I'll start lobbying my friends and relatives back there about the joys of bunny slavery.

Several members from this forum adopted a bunny from that incident. Luvabun took the last one remaining from that group.

Helga, did you get the photos from the EdmontonAugust Show yet? Sharin was going to putsome of them in the newsletter.
