i cant get my rabbit to eat and vegtables. imguessing at the store they didnt feed them any veggies but he wont evennibble on them. they said that i shouldnt feed him any vegtables untilhe was older because he isnt used to it but i thought id ease him intothem. well he isnt even touching them. what should i do? anyone elsehad this problem?

what are you trying to give her for veggiesfirst off?? that might have something to do with it...I have anetherland that is very picky about the veggies she will eat... Shewill not touch greens at all, but toss a carrot in there and watch hergo mental...Also she likes the sweeter fruits and veggies like squash, apples etc...anything that is bright and has a kind of sweet smell toit. I may be wrong but it might be a starting point for Echo where asshe is young and doesnt have a clue as to what veggies are....also howlong have you had her?? She may still be trying to adjust to the newsurroundings and veggies may not be on her top 10 list of things shewants to adapt to just yet.

Just remember SM412 ,MODERATION is the key , dontfeed tomany at one time and only once ortwice max a week . otherwise they getoverly fat and that isnt healthy.

i think that she/ he(still not sure until we goto vet) is probably still adjusting. ive tried carrots, lettuce andapples. he/she wont eat any of it. any thing else i should be trying?

Try something fragant (and healthy, too) likeparsley or cilantro. The only rabbit in my house that didn'timmediately lunge for it the first time they saw it is Tank.Of course.:p Just take a little bit, like one sprig to startwith, and put it in his bowl on top of the pellets and walkaway. Some rabbits are shy about trying new things, andhaving a very tall creature hovering over the cage doesn'thelp.:)

Also, try choosing just one thing, preferably a healthy leafy green, and feed it to him every day for a few days to get him used toit. Take it out if it starts getting wilted, but keep givinghim just a little every day.

Your bun is still a little young to be able to adjust to the veggies. Try waiting a month or two, then reintroduce slowly.

I totally agree with Shuu. Echo is just a tadbit too young to eat veggies. Wait just a couple of months or even afew weeks then start easing him/her on the veggies. Take cares& say 'Hello' to Echo for me!
