My 4 and a half month old male, Netherland Dwarf bunny, Silver loves to chew on my wicker clothes basket and eat it. Is this ok for him? He doesn't really do much damage to it so that is not what I am worried about. I just need to know if this is ok for him to eat.

Depends...

A lot of wicker items meant for human use like some baskets, furniture, or in this case a clothes hamper, may have been treated or sealed with something. If it has then its not good, if it hasn't then its probably fine.

I have a wicker clothes hamper too that my netherland dwarf liked to chew on too. I used it to store hay in until I got something bigger and another rabbit. He really didn't eat it and he was just fine. Of course it wasn't left out it was only brought out when I was cleaning and adding new hay to his boxes. Its probably best you put it away so he cant chew on it though just to be safe.

*Untreated* wicker is totally safe for bunnies. Wicker that's been stained, painted, sealed, etc. is not safe.
