So, my boyfriend's rabbit, Veko got neutered a few weeks back and now he's been eating hay like he is starving. He's been drinking and pooping and what not normally, except instead of eating pellets he's attacking hay like he's never eaten it. He's also shedding a lot. Maybe he knows that hay is good for keeping hair balls away?

:p Just being cautious and making sure this is nothing to worry about.

You have one of those "good" problems. Hay should be the primary diet. My rabbits have a buffet of different types of hay. Not only is hay vital for keeping the GI in proper order, it is also the best way to keep those ever growing teeth worn down. Keep hay available at all times.
