So now that our little Mr. cookie is getting along beautifully with both our pups  we have been letting him be free all during the day (whenever we are home) on the weekends... Which is pretty much all weekend... We are homebodies :)

So Friday, Saturday and today he has just been out doing his thing from the time we woke up til we go to bed... My issue (and I'm probably just being paranoid) is that he spends all his time with us playing sleeping flopping lol and only goes back to his area every few hours... For a bathroom break and some food, water etc... Is it ok for him to only be eating every few hours?

FYI: hes plenty comfortable enough to go back and forth as he pleases... He just doesn't want to more often... He's also pooping peeing and all normally... Also is it "normal" for a bun to be able to hold their bladder for such a long time? He's always done this... He'll just hold it til he gets to his litter box...

Thoughts? :?

It sounds fine, but if you want you could add another litter box somewhere. Just move some of his 'results' there so he gets the idea.

Sounds fine to me also, I also agree that maybe ot make it easier just have another littler tray inside where he is playing with you with hay in it so he can poop and munch there and not have to go back and forward. I bring Rocky's litter tray inside when he is in the lounge room so he doesn't have to go out the back to pee :)

Another litter box in the room you play with him is a good idea. I also have a litter box in our living room where she spends time with us when she's out of her cage. Bunnies tend to pee less often than us. I observed my girl and she will pee, well...probably 2-3 times a day. She peed more during Summer when she drank a lot of water. I think your bunny is healthy and happy :) So mommy can be relaxed.
