Eating Box Elder Bugs?

[align=center]Soleil eats box elder bugs .. she has eaten two that I know of.
Are they poisonous to her?
Why is she eating them?
Wouldn't they be considered meat..?

Some one posted here once about their bunny eating cat food, which is also mostly protein. We have some here that are picky eaters and a couple you need to get your fingers out of the way of because the food is half way to their stomach before they know what they've eaten.
