So, it's not my birthday til Friday, but me and Steve went to my parents yesterday for a BBQ, as a sort of early celebration. My parents gave me my birthday present early, a digital SLR camera!! :biggrin2: I've wanted one for aaaaages, and have been reading photography magazines a lot since my surgery trying to understand a bit more about it. My parents mentioned a while ago that they had been looking at cameras for me, but I never imagined that they'd get me one, given that they're so expensive :shock:
It's a Canon EOS 400, here's a picture of it:

I LOVE it! I can take so much better pictures now, it's really hard to take a 'bad' picture with this, compared to my other camera, which although was a really good camera, I'd often get blurry pics, or Chalk or Snowy would come up sooo bright, but this one takes brilliant pictures... and I haven't even played with most of the settings!

Ok, I guess this may not be the most exciting thread for some people to read, sorry! I'm just sooooo happy, I can't believe I've been given such a great present! I guess there's no excuse for me not updating my blog lots now then!
