Absolutely breathtaking.Awesome.
This is pretty neat to watch. Lots of work went into this performance.
Amazing1 If you watch carefully, you can see them using the drums to their right and left even while playing their own.
The Swiss close-order drill--without arms.
This is about 5 minutes of video showing the most fantastic precision drumming you probably will ever see. Leave it up to the Swiss...precision, just like a watch. It is well worth watching!

I had to go back three page to find this... I can't believe that no one posted a response to this!!! It was awesome!!!

Thanks you so much Luvr of Wabbits and Polar Bears!! It totally made my day to see such excellence in action. Many people do not have a clue how much work goes into a performance of such precision. The performance was without a doubt breathtaking!!!

I know what they have to go thru. I was in a Marching band for 6 years in the city. I love Drum Lines. I love watching them solo when they did a Drum Line show off at the Field Show competitions.

That was awesome!! I was in the marching band too and the drum line was my favorite thing to watch. I played the flute *insert any American Pie joke you want, I've heard them all :p*.

Lol. I played the Clarinet for the Marching part but i learned almost a little of everything. Which Marching Band were u in?? I wonder if we competed against your band somewhere along the lines....

I was in the Northwest Trojan Regiment in Concord, NC, it was 10-13 years ago. We mainly completed with bands in the Southeast. Clarinet was my first choice when I was picking an instrument, but for some reason when I would play it I would get really bad sores where my braces were pushing into my lip. I knew other people that had braces and could play, but I could not.

LOL.... I played flute also, but in high school. We always had to march for the football games and parades. When wewere given our drill for playing on the field, I was always anchor for the line, or next one in. Not sure if that was a good thing because they always planted me right in between or next to the sousaphones (marching tubas). :shock:No one could tell if I was playing or not with all of the "oompa"sounds. LOL

Anyhow, drum lines still do it for me. Other people are into shiney objects... just give me a drum line to watch/listen to and you won't hear a complaint from me. I wish I could find competitions near me because there is nothing like being there to feel the music!! :D
