i am in love with dried fruit! i was just wondering if anyone else does to and what you like?

i am in LOVE with dried cantaloupe and dried blueberries

also rather addicted to dried pears and figs

Never had dried cantaloupe either! Love the mango, thekind from the Philipines. We have this dried fruitmixat work that's kiwi, strawberry, pineapple and apricots. First day it was fun to eat, we get sick just from looking at it!

I love most dried fruits that I've tried. I especially love pineapple, banana, apricot, papaya, and mango.
Oh, and dates! I love dates!!

I try to avoid things that are too sugary, so I don't eat a much dried fruit as I would like. But I do eat a bit of organic fruit leather most afternoons!

Lol..i didn't know what cantaloupe was..had to look it up and found out that cantaloupe is what we call rockmelon..eww i dislike the stuff lol

i forgot about dates!

i love to put dried fruit in my morning oatmeal. yum!

this is the first bag of dried cantaloupe that i have ever seen. it is sooo good!

oh, and pineapple. i love eating that too!

its good to see that i am not the only one that loves dried fruits

I like dried fruit too. At the top of my list is probably dried California apricots. They test better than the Greek apricots and are more expensive/harder to find (at least up here). They're a brighter orange color and are cut in half down the middle so they don't look as nice as the regular dried apricots. I also love dried mango, dried cherries, golden raisins, dried pears, dried plums (yes, prunes- they're like enormous grapes, what's not to love?). Dried cantaloupe too! There's a stand at the farmer's market that sells all of these dried fruits, plus more, and about 5 kinds of dried apples. All the fruit is organic too.

I guess the only one I don't like is dried bananas.

I just wolfed down about a half of bag of dried apples on the way home from work yesterday! It's from a local apple orchard. The daughter of the owner dries apples and sells them at the orchard. YUM!

I want to get a dehydrator of my own so I can do this! It would be cheaper (and healthier with no sugar added) to do it myself.

my mom has one, but it takes forever, and i simply don't have the time to sit around waiting lol. but it would be great to do your own. i am still looking for a place that sells decently priced dried fruit that is all natural with no added sugar (the only place up here is a small organic health food store that charger massive amounts for everything)

We have a dehydrator and love it. It doesn't take long at all to dehydrate things, usually just over night or at most 24hrs(for really thick things).

We make TONS of apple chips each year from our apple tree. We dont' add any sugar, just a tiny sprinkle of cinnamon. I make a few without any cinnamon for my rabbit, as he loves them too. We also make apple leather, which is basically apple sauce dehydrated into a fruit roll up. Super yummy. We also make tons of Jerky with it, as my dad is a hunter. We LOVE our dehydrator!!!!
