Hi there,

My female bunny, Blossom, has recently started dragging her litter tray all over my flat, so that I am constantly having to sweep up hay, sawdust and poop. She does this almost obsessively and will drag it to one area, sit for a minute, then drag it to another. She was a rescue bunny and I've had her for almost 3 1/2 years. I have another bun but she hates him and tries to fight him most of the time so I have to keep them separate.

Any ideas why she's dragging her tray around so obsessively and any suggestions as to how I can help her and get her to stop doing it? Given how jealous she can be sadly gettinga new bun is out of the question!

Thank you!

Em :)

Does she have a dig box, with a heavy layer of stones or brick at the bottom to make it too heavy to drag? Maybe then she'd leave the litter box alone. And maybe you need to get another, larger litter box that she can't drag. Maybe she needs 2 boxes. I'd get one of the larger cat boxes.

I use bricks to prevent dragging/movement of the litter bins. Mainly because Bighead likes to run and "cannonball" into the litter bins.
