Doxycycline given as Minocycline - is this safe?

I have another thread, but I didn't want this question to get lost. I know Medirabbit has the Doxycycline as being safe, but the vet gave it to us in liquid form and the bottle says Minocycline. I'm just wondering if this formula is just as safe and if I will have to worry about potential stomach issues like our poor bun had with Trimethsulfa something. (For those who advocate that the rabbit savvy vet needs to do a culture instead of prescribing a variety of meds, she intends on doing this on Monday if he shows no improvement this weekend or if we feel like it's necessary.)

Apparently I forgot that one of our previous buns (who has since passed away) has had this medicine, and I asked a similar question here in August 2013. I spelled the medicine name different which is why I couldn't find it upon searching.
