hey guys. i have a sorta tech-y question that i'm hoping someone can answer:biggrin2:.

i got a zune back in january and really wanted videos on it. didn't want to go with zune marketplace so i asked here. was told to use this, which i have with much success. only problem? i thought i told mom about it, but apparently something got lost in translation because i mentioned i had something downloading the other night and she wasn't happy. she's worried about viruses and stuff coming onto the computer from the stuff i'm downloading.

i have no clue and mom has enough on her plate right now(almost 4 weeks into chemo for breast cancer;):(). so can anyone help me with this? i'll love you forever:coolness:!

thx,

~A

Do you have a good Anti-Virus Anna? My sister has downloaded a few viruses thinking they were music or video files :)X) but thankfully the anti-virus has caught them all. I've never downloaded any YT videos myself so can't tell you how safe that is, sorry.

I've got a Zune, also.
I have downloaded a few music videos from YouTube to put on my Zune, and I haven't had any problem with viruses.

I think YouTube is generally safe, but I would avoid using any sort of file sharing things.

I wouldn't download much of anything if you don' t have an antivirus program, though.

I use 1-Click YouTube Downloader. It lets you choose the format you want, so youcan get the video, or just download the audio part. I usually use it for video of live performances, but you can use it for anything that's up on YouTube. (I also like to save funny commercials.) I'm sure there are dozens of other programs that will do the same thing.
