Does your bun eat all day long, or does s/he take a lengthy nap during the day?
Our two rabbits couldn't be more different when it comes to their chosen eating times.
Our Californian male, Pinkerton, is a day-long muncher. He consumes his pellets within 1-2 hours after receiving them (at 7:15 am) and eats his greens when they're set out (at 6 pm). He wakes up multiple times throughout the day to eat hay, drink water, and/or use his litter box.
On the other hand, our Mini Rex, Emma, stops eating/drinking and settles down for her daytime nap around 11 am. She doesn't rise again until about 6:30 pm, when she rises to eat hay and use her litter box.
I wonder if some of Emma's stasis issues are exacerbated by her not eating, drinking, or moving for 7-7.5 hours straight. Hmmm...
