I have a room set aside for my rabbits to have free run of. I was just wondering if anyone else does this and if they have any pictures of their set up?
I would love to hear what you guys do. :)

Agnes's "apartment" as we call it is our finished walkout basement. It is her free run area.

We had to take a break from free run for awhile during her teenage stage because she was peeing on my couch AND climbing all mover and falling and I was afraid she would get hurt. But, she was spayed and, knock on wood, has stopped all of that so free run all day (in her condo at night ) is almost completely back!

For pictures, click on my blog under my avatar <---antics of Agnes, click on the first page and towards the bottom is pictures of her cage and apartment.

Oh, I wish. If I ever find myself with an extra room in a house or apartment, I would give it to Teddy in a second. We don't have an extra room in this house, and even if we did I don't think my mom would like me to give it to the rabbit... If Boyfriend and I room together after we graduate, I'm pretty sure we'd be fighting about that. "This is Teddy's new bedroom!" "No, it's our computer room!" :rollseyes Why do computers need their very own room anyways?

We've always had a separate area for our little poop machines to roam. In Calif before we moved it was our family room full of "sacrificial furniture", and here we finished off the biggest bedroom to make it rabbit proof as it's impossible to block off any area in the main house and the dogs are kept inside this time of year and they don't inter mix as our small dog is a Great Dane.

I've got two bedrooms that aren't being used, but there's too much furniture for bunnies to have enough space (and I don't really want to have to dig them out from under beds) so they have a bit over 2/3 of my living room penned off (with the pens connected to their condo so that they've got access to their run 24/7. they're too little to be fully litter trained yet, so keeping a tarp under their run spares my carpet and makes clean-up easy.

My bun gets to roam in my kitchen. I open her cage super early in the morning, she gets out and into her box in the corner and takes her mid-morning nap. She visits with the cats and dog. Then goes to her other box and takes her afternoon nap, after that shes charged up for the evening and night! She rearranges my kitchen for me and then she goes back to her cage before I go to bed.

I have Conan in a room, but his cage takes up 1/3 the room and furniture another 1/3, so his run space isn't that grand though I will add the hallway as soon as I figure out how to secure it properly. He shares the room with 2 cockatiels and so far it seems he'd rather wile away the time in his cage then run around the outside space given to him.

My buns have the whole guest bedroom, which is no longer for guests because they've taken over the whole thing! At night, I put a gate on the door. During the day, they have access to the whole house (which isn't all that big since we are in a condo) but they only come out once in the morning to run around and once at night. Their favorite place to sleep is under the bed. They've made it quite the little den with their sheet too.
