My bunnies have never refused a piece of banana regardless the ripeness but I do peel the skin for them. When I know something is wrong or they are 'off' I use the banana as a test if they don't eat it then I know it's either gas or starting of stasis.

My four buns have anywhere betweenone to four slices of banana for breakfast every morning. They adore banana and chase me down for it. I HAVE to keep it in the houseatall times. The girls love it more than the boys and Snuggs asks for seconds and thirds. Banana time/breakfast timeis a joyous occasion. I worry sometimes if Snuggs eats too much, she can pack it away. So far no health concerns and they get tons of exercise so don't get overweight. They prefer the organic ones, tastier!

I don't give banana often, but when I do it's usually pretty ripe, and without the skin.

However, recently Behr jumped on the table (little rascal) and ate the end off of the banana while I was oblvious to his trouble-making. He didn't have any adverse reactions, but I wouldn't purposely give him the skin.

My bunnies each get one slice of banana each morning. Always peeled, and only about as thick as a dried banana chip. I also know that if somebun doesn't want their banana in the morning, something is wrong. Everyone loves Banana Time!

I prefer a medium-ripeness banana, but my bunnies don't seem to mind one way or another.

A breeder i know use banana slices(no skin) when we go for shows for her jersey woolies. they look mushy to me

I give my bunnies a little bit of banana each...just like with any fruit...all in moderation....they can also eat the skin as well.
