Title says it all. Or is it just mine? Do I have to change it cuz the whole pack's like, soft. Not soggy soft, but break easily if I bend it soft. I don't remember it being like that the first few days /: I use Oxbow pellets for young rabbIt's btw :) thanks in advance for the help.

Pellets should be firm, not crumbly. I have not used the specific pellets you said you have, but if this package is different than what they usually are I would err on the side of caution and throw them out.

Where have you been storing the pellets? It sounds like they've been in too much humidity. Buy more & keep them drier [which I'm sure isn't that easy in Singapore]. It's possible that the soggy ones could be dried out spread out on a baking sheet in the oven set on very low heat, but I wouldn't do it if they've been soggy for more than a day.

If it seems unusual to you, it might be time to get a new bag. If you're buying more pellets than you can use in a short period of time, you can put some in a zipper baggie and freeze them until you need them which should help keep them fresh.

If it's of any help. I also use oxbow young rabbit pellets (alfalfa based) and if I bend it, they will easily break, sort of crumbly- I think how you described it. Mine have always been this way, maybe it's just the alfalfa in it that makes it not as hard as other pellets....?

Yeah I use this brand as well, glad to know that :O
Just to be safe however I threw the whole pack away (there wasn't much left anyway) and bought a new one just now. I placed it in an airtight container with silica gel, you think that'll help? :/
