I adopted my boy Dizzee just over 3years ago, about a year and a half ago he had to have his hind leg amputated after an injury. Once he was recovered well enough we set out trying to find him the perfect partner :bunnysuit:
After alot of failed bonds or just not taking to the others I was nearly at my wits end and giving up on finding him a partner.
Due to him missing a back leg, he can't scratch and struggles to groom his own ears so although I do this alot for him, I can't be on demand 24/7, as much as he would like that :innocent
Last week I was suggested a possible suitable lady bun, after alot of consideration we decided this would be our last attempt for a while due to the stress on both of us.
Well Dizzee took to her straight away, and he now has a new lady in his life again. Shes been renamed Diva, we decided new start, new home, new name
Dizzee is the cheekiest, naughtiest bunny going, he has everyone he meets wrapped under his paws. He struggles with his weight as he is alot less active than he use to be, so hes constantly on abit of a weight watchers diet (much to his disgust).
These are some pictures of them both today. Diva was very nervous when I got her but is slowly coming around, it helps that Dizzee is like your shadow and always wanting scratches/food so she is slowly realising we are not so scary.
