Digging on everything she can get her paws on

Recently (day or two), Q has started digging again for the first time after her spay several months ago. She's always been a blanket burrower, but in the past two days, she's been digging in her cage, on my bookshelf, in her cardboard box, and even climbing into her travel carrier to dig in that.

Any ideas as to why she suddenly thinks she's a dog, digging up everything?
