Dig Box Help

My french lop is back to digging in her litter box, which is all fine and dandy except she pushes all of the litter to one side and then my polish pees on the actual litter box and stairs with nothing to absorb the urine (their litter box is this).

I've tried to create a dig box for my lop many times, but then the polish thinks it's a litter box and goes to the bathroom in there. (And the lop uses the litter box as a dig box!)

Any suggestions as to how to give each what the want without either doubling as something else?

Pictures of dig boxes might help too!

I;m not sure how to do it with that kind of box, but the litter box needs to have a screen over the litter so the litter can't be dug. Once you've stopped the digging you probably need to wait awhile to make a dig box, but I'd try something completely different from the litter box, like a cardboard box filled with crumpled paper.
