According to this site that
Was given from a member here.
Cabbage was in there as long as u gave
15% of there diet.

Also, there was a link that was given on
Here on one of my posts about the different kinds of
Lettuce that was OK. Was just wondering if
The spring mix was ok to give. Has the purple
Colored tips on the leaves.
Can someone provies that link again please?

Cabbage is considered a safe veggie for rabbits, however, sometimes cruciferous veggies can cause digestive upset and gas for some rabbits, so you'll want to be really careful if you give them, and keep a close eye out for any negative reaction like acting uncomfortable or not eating normally.

Spring mix is ok for rabbits. Basically it's dark leafy greens that are good for them. But there are certain ones, like spinach, that should only be given in limited amounts. And because some rabbits have sensitive digestive systems, it's always best to introduce one veggie at a time, and start off with small amounts, then gradually increasing if you don't see digestive upset or soft poop.

Ok, I knew how to do it
Just wanted to make
Sure it was ok.

While it does say 15% of diet, in my opinion that's really for a mix of greens. I think I gave gave Bandit 15% of his daily food as cabbage he would have stomach upsets. I tend to take the 15% as a mix of things.

Agree that cabbage is technically considered safe, but I would personally never give it just because Bandit seems a little prone to gassy tummy with the wrong foods.

It doesn't say 15% of overall diet. It says 15% of overall veggies being fed.

According to the article:
75% of the greens fed should be leafy greens.
15% MAXIMUM should be non leafy greens (cabbage is on this list)
10% MAXIMUM should be fruit.

So for example, if you're feeding 2 cups of veggies
1 1/2 cups would be leafy greens
Up to 1/3 cup would be non leafy greens (where cabbage is)
Up to 2.5 tablespoons would be fruit.
