I want to know what people feed their individual bunnies daily. I like to see what other people are doing and if I'm doing it right.
Candy Cane, 2 years old and Vegas, 1 year old, both Mini Rexes
Unlimited Timothy, Orchard, Oat, and Meadow grass hay (Hay mix)
1/2 cup Oxbow Adult pellets
Parsley
Cilantro
Carrot Tops
Grean Leaf, Romaine, Butter Leaf lettuce
2 papaya tablets
Carrots, 10 months old, and Frostie, Cher, LaRew, Sonny, Maxine, Adeline, Grump, and Boo, 6 weeks old, all Lionhead mixes
Unlimited Hay mix
Unlimited Oxbow Young pellets
Carrots is still with her babies, so she gets lots of pellets and no treats. Usually her diet is different.

They are only a rare treat...my bunnies go INSANE for them lol. What does Honey eat?

Here'smy buns diet:)

Charlie is my 9 month old Holland lop. His diet consists of:

Unlimited Timothy hay and grass
1/4 cup of Kaytee Timothy hay pellets
1/4 cup of romaine lettuce
1/4 cup of cilantro
1/4 cup of alfalfa sprouts
Various treats(carrots, fruit, ect)once a week

Lila is my 18 month old Holland lop. She is currently nursing two kits and her diet consists of:

Unlimited Timothy hay, grass, and alfalfa
Unlimited Sherwood Forest Lactating and Growing pellets
1/3 cup of romaine lettuce
1/3 cup of cilantro
1/3 cup of alfalfa sprouts
Various treats(carrots, fruit, ect) once a week

Lila's kits are only 18 days old so all they eat is their mama's milk :D

I wouldn't give Lila any more veggies or treats while she has her kits, as their digestive systems aren't ready and they may get blockages and die. I envy you! Sherwood Forest isn't available in my area. Shipping cost is pretty expensive too. But it sounds great:) I can't find alfalfa sprouts anywhre in my area:(

14-ish week old Holland Lop(too lazy to count weeks, she's somewhere around 14):

1/4 cup pellets(tried giving her more since she's still a baby, but she had tons of cecals), unlimited hay, a couple sprigs of cilantro, and a nightly snack of fruit. Usually strawberries or some apple bits. We haven't tried anything else yet.

my bunnies normally get about 1/4-1/3 pellets (to share) in the morning and first thing before bed. they're separated at the moment, so Nala is currently getting unlimited pellets and Gaz is getting 1/8 cup or less twice a day. (Gaz has weight issues; Nala will moderate her pellet intake well on her own as her favorite food seems to be hay. Nala also gets more pellets because she's so bad about eating her veggies.) they eat sherwood forest adult food.

I usually buy three types of veggies 1-2x a week and give them a mix. kale is always one of the three 'cause it's their favorite. cilantro, carrot tops and curly parsley are also faves. this week, they have italian parsley because the store was out of curly, carrot tops, kale and green leaf lettuce.

if I offer a non-leafy-green veggie, they get no more than 1 tbsp/day each. if I offer fruit, they get about 1 tsp/day each. I make sure no one gets a chance to eat the other's share of those foods.

Kat: That's interesting. i thought nursing rabbits could eat veggies? Maybe I could just lower her intake of veggies or do you think I should totally take them out of her diet.

I have to order Sherwood Forest online also! It's soo expensive. It costs me like $36 for a 19lb bag... hopefully I can continue feeding it to my bunnies :)

Oliver's diet, 1 1/2 year old Mini Rex;
1/2 a cup of food a day (fiesta mix not sure of brand I forgot personally).
Unlimited timothy hay and grass.
A small handful of different greens.
He gets apple, carrot, carrot tops, or banana chips a 3 times a week.

Daisy's diet, 5 year old Netherland Dwarf;
1/4 cup of Kaytee Pellets with hay bits.
Unlimited Timothy hay and grasses.
She doesn't get greens too often, maybe 3 times a week because she gets diarrhea when she has too much greens.
She gets apple, banana chip, or carrot/carrot tops 2 times a week.

Kara's diet, 6 year old Netherland Dwarf;
1/4 cup of Purina Show Health.
Unlimited Timothy hay and grass.
Greens about 3 times a week because she gets diarrhea too.
Treats like apple, banana chip, or carrot/carrot tops 2 times a week or so.

They all get the same hay and veggies/fruits just different amounts.

Humma- 1/4c oxbow natural science adult rabbit (split into 2 feedings)
4c veggies (split into 2 feedings)
Unlimited hay mix (Timothy, orchard, oat)
Humma is about 3.5 yrs old/just over 4 lbs.

Faith- 1/8c oxbow BeneTerra organic rabbit (split into 2 feedings)
Same frequency and amount of veggies as Humma
Unlimited hay mix like Humma
Faith is about 1 year old/just under 4 lbs.

Freckles- Oxbow critical care apple/banana amount varies based on
need
Unlimited hay mix except oat (watching
out for seed heads)
Special needs bunny hence the strange diet
Freckles is about 2 yrs old/just over 3 lbs.

The veggies vary. This week is romaine, kale, spinach. I try to feed 3 different varieties of dark green leafy a week following the HRS suggested veggies list, rotating out higher calcium and higher oxalic acid veggies. I use botanical and meadow hays as hand fed treats. Sometimes pure canned pumpkin as a fiber boost in moult (not for Freckles). Occasional non-leafy, non-starch veggies in season. I more careful with sugar now since oxbow pellets contain molasses. BeneTerra does not. Humma will be switched to that soon.
