diabetes blog.........?

hey all! i have a question for you! do you read blogs(either random people or those you know)? and would you read a blog about a diabetic teenager(me)? i'm thinking about asking mom if i can start a blog(i'm looking at Blogger.com right now. any feed back?)about being a diabetic teenager.

also, i need name ideas. my JDRF walk team name is Anna's Hope.

I say if you have time to blog and your notes will serve as a valuable tracking system, go for it!

When the Levemir and Lantus insulin were causing problems, it helped to google and read feedback other diabetics reported on medical forums. Blogging is nice to have as a journal (i'm guilty of wildlife entries about cottontails / ground squirrels in the past - and those entries from 5 years ago have reminiscent value ). It's a personal thing! You are an enthusiastic young lady with diabetes :heartsand your experiences can motivate, educate, or keep significant concerns in a journal blog.

On occasion if I have a severe reaction due to physical activity I would jot it on the calendar.

There are so many fantastic bunny blogs on RO, and the adorable pix and humor make them awesome in-home entertainment.
I wish I had freetime to peruse them all.

Diabetes blogs is somethin' I'm clueless about. * I bypass the precious time to read the local animal shelter blog, or the News Station blog. HTH.

It would be an interesting occasional read. I like Wordpress personally, I just think you can customise it more.

i really like 'livin' the D life' or something like that, but it's too close to some of Nick Jonas's stuff:rollseyes

I like "diabetes-what it's really like. the every day struggles and victory's of a diabetic teen". If your mom lets you do this I'll read it! I think that a bright teenager such as yourself will be an inspiration to other diabetic teens. They will be able to relate to you and know that they are not alone

aww, thanks guys! i'm still working on the name, i'm thinking something with the same theme as 'diabetes-what it's really like. the every day struggles and victory's of a diabetic teen' but maybe a bit shorter. i can't wait to talk to mom, i hope she lets me!

I think a blog would be very inspiring to other teens. How about something like "Anna - the daily life of a diabetic teenager".
