i have a new bunny , who ive been told is a boy but when i had a look he doesnt appear to have any boy bits , at what age should you be able to see testicles , he is around 7-8 weeks old

I'm no expert, but I believe that the age of your new bunny is still such that his testicles won't have descended.

Here is a recent thread that was on the board: http://www.rabbitsonline.net/view_topic.php?id=36303&forum_id=1

There is a ton of information in this thread and it should be of some help to you. You can also check out the forum's library. And, if all else fails, a vet should be able to help you determine the sex of your new bun.

Oh! And congrats on your new addition! We need pictures!

You won't be able to see his testicles until he is probably four-five months old. That's how you can tell if he is ready to get neutered, is when his bits "drop".

Whatever you do don't look at his bits now and think hes a boy and never look again becuase thats the problem I had we beleived the breeder that both my buns were girls but when we saw them mating we decided to look for ourselves and dippy was a boy!
When the breeder looked they were only about 10 weeks old and when we looked he was about 4 months!
Good luck in sexing your bunny xx
