I want to dedicate this postto thebeloved memory ofmy housebunny Fudge, who left us a year agotoday for Rainbow Bridge. Time goes so fast but it seems as though youwere with us yesterday teddy face.

It's funny how you can go all the year and beokay and then the anniversary comes and all the emotions come back.I've just taken my make up off after bawling my eyes out and spreadingit all over my face. I made myself cry writing the dedication.

I think it's very sweet of you to remember Fudge on this day with this thread.:)

My boyfriend is Jewish and they actually have a ceremony (I think it'scalled an "unveiling") on the one year anniversary of someone'spassing. Basically they light a candle and unveil theheadstone and the whole family gathers again to remember the departedand share stories. It's a nice tradition.

I'm sorry you lost someone so special.:(
 
Thank you Bunnymum. My husband and I both saw arainbow this evening when we were journeying home (seperately). I waslike 'and I saw a rainbow on the way home in the car' and he said hesaw one on he bus.We like to believe it was Fudgey sayinghello.

Aw Yes I am the same way after the anniversaryas come as well. twice I went through it with my dogs death and it ishard. On his 2nd anniversary of his death I took it really hard causeit has been 2yrs.
