I'm sat here grinning away like a silly bugger, and why? Because I was sent this picture ..

.. this little boy is going to and be subjected to the family you used to live with !

I used to wonder, at people who used to get really upset over losing apet, but when you went away we were all devastated!Not only that your death had happened at such a hard time for thefamily, but because you really "touched" every one of us.Albeit, keeping on biting Mike's Hi Fi wires would make him shout a lot... and you caused us big fall outs at times, (chuckle) ....BUT, hespent a couple of days looking for you in your usual spot at nights.beside his chair!

Anyways .. am sure you know how we all felt ..

This little rabbit wont/cant ever replace you, but after you'd gone, weall missed you! (Even your sulky looks from thefire!) I don't think I ever want to be without alittle rabbit ever again.

And .. you know it Felix .. tis a place where you are spoiled rotten !!

HI new bunny, I know you don't have aname yet, but I know you are going to a new family that willlove you very much. You are so cute , and I loveyour eyes, and you will probably look like my Pebbles.

I never knew how Pebbles looked like when she was ababy. I adopted her after she wentthrough a series of operations from a complex c-section, spaying, and other injuries. She was 5months old at that time. And likeFelix, she is our first bunny.

Felix, we only knew you for a short time, but youare forever etched in our minds. I knowSaffy, the first cut is always the deepest.

I think that, whatever love you give any rabbit .. thattotally pure love you give your first one, the newness of it all, andthe first love and trust between you and this new creature, it's alwaysthere; that some day, another rabbit will look you in the eye and grabhold of your heart .. the same as the first one.

Couldn't agree more. What a moving thing to write. She a little cutie!

Just because you buy another rabbit after one has died its not a greedthing its your love and apreciation of rabbits and thats what you have.

thank you ... I was feeling particularlyemotional when I received that picture last night and when I saw it,felt such an emotional rush of love, followed almost immediately byguilty feelings. I sat still for a minute and thought ofFelix, and know deep down that he knows how much he was loved and thatwe will never replace him; I also knew that he was probably doing arabbit grin at me and saying ... "Knew you'd be hooked!"
