An update. Keeping the buns separated during the day seemed to work. When I came home and let them out in the garden together they behaved well. But now as the night has progressed my girl is showing that aggression again. Should I keep them separated overnight?

The rescue is unable to take the foster bunny back until the weekend so just want to get this problem under control before things get worse.

Really hate seeing Tabitha being mean to Harry. He hasn't done anything wrong and I know she is just trying to show him he is hers but just makes me sad that their relationship has been affected. Doesn't make much sense to me as they have been in boarding before and so Tabitha would have had other rabbits around her but didn't become aggressive. Is it because this is her territory and she is trying to protect it?

To prevent anything bad from happening, I would probably separate them, but keep them as close as you can (cages side by side) so that they are still near each other and can hang out through the bars. Separating them entirely could stress them out more otherwise.
