I have tried hard to find a pic of a rabbit on the Net that looked like her, to show you all.

But she must be an unusual type, i can't find one. Can anyonehelp? She is brown with dark brown ears, top of head to muzzle,& feet. A very elegant pattern but a bit hard todescribe. Non-lop.

In the cat world she would be called a seal point.

Here is a seal point cat, which gives you ageneral idea of Daisy except her main color is closer to the dark shadethan is usual on the cats. That is, her main color is a fairly dark
brown but not as dark as the markings.

Is there any way to tell whether a bun is purebred or mixed breed? Iassume most are mixed from pet shops & many breeders.

That's a siamese sable but it gets us no closer to a breed, sorry.

Very similar, altho Daisy is not a lop.

I just posted a picture of a lop because of thecolor and I couldn't find a non-lop picture of a siamese sable. But asI said, a lot of breeds have that color so can;t really specify morethan that.

Hmmm...i see. How many is "a lot"? Maybe we can narrow it down.

She is 4 lbs or a bit more (growing girl!)

How can you weigh a rabbit? On a regular scale? I would guess they'd be a little too light on a young rabbit?

This is the vet's weighing - not sure what type of scale is best.
