I have a girl white & tan short haired, lop eared bunny. She is about 8 months old, her name is Daisy, comes up to you in her cage when you come by. She's very cute, but she doesn't like our new babies, so I'm hoping someone else can find her a home and maybe a friend later on. I am asking $20 for her, $30 raised bottom cage & Daisy.

I seen your other thread. Your bunnies are gorgeous. I think if you give her time, she will be fine. They will do some chasing, and humping at first. It's a dominiant thing. Good Luck.

SO I am just trying to understand this..u bought Daisy, then you wanted more bunnies and you have gotten the 2 lionheads, and now that they dont get along..U r getting rid of Daisy??

No, we bought our now dead bunny Fluff 2mo old. We got Daisy for Fluff and Daisy was 6mo. or so. They got along from the very start.
Then, this past weekend, Fluff died. We went out and got suckered into getting two 2 & 3mo. babies to keep Daisy company. We got Daisy from another family free and the cage she is now living in again.
Daisy gets along with Caramel, but still fights her every now and then. But she bites hard and rips fur and skin off of poor tiny Fudge!
And if you did really read my other post, you would know we are trying to keep Daisy.
Daisy will stay in the small cage until they all get along. In a month or two, is she still tries to kill Fudge, Daisy needs to go.

It is sad that u wont take the time to still keep Daisy even if she doesnt get along with Fudge. If they all dont live harmoniously you can still keep Daisy in a separate cage.

I hear what u r saying that u got Daisy for Fluff, I am so very sorry Fluff passed, But even if you got suckered into getting 2 more bunnies (which BTW are adorable) You still have a responsibility to Daisy. IMHO I dont feel u should get rid of her, u took her on as a pet and have a responsibility to her.

That cage IMO is way too small I would suggest getting NIC to build her a new one..they r very cost effective.

Just give it time!!!

P.S. this is all IMHO I am not trying to offend anyone

I already have a home made cage. I don't have another kiddie pool or anything else to keep the mess Daisy makes contained. So I will not make her a bigger cage.
I get that Daisy is my new responcibility, but no one told that to the lady that gave her to me. You won't fix the problem by telling me something I already know.
My dog killed Fluff, I didn't sell the dog because of that, I upgraded the cage so it's harder to escape out of and I lock up the dog. But rabbits make a huge mess and smell, I have to clean them every day. I will not risk Daisy bitting Fudge and have her missing an eye or something just because I 'have to' keep Daisy. It's best to find her a new home where there won't be any risks.

Well I guess u have your mind made up and I will keep my humble opinions to myself. but I am still sorry for your loss and I hope that they all get along for Daisy's sake

[sup]MODERATOR, CLOSE THREAD.[/sup]

I will go ahead and close this thread per your request - but I do think it is a shame that you have one rabbit - get two others and then suddenly want to rehome your older rabbit.

If the thread had been left open - perhaps there could have been a discussion on how to keep all of them and make enough space or whatever.

I do want to point out about someone "giving" you Daisy - you still accepted her and have a responsibility to her and it isn't the fault of someone else.

With that - this thread will be closed.
