I LOOOOVE it Alicia :biggrin2:!!

p.s...sorry I didn't call you back to talk more about your new hair-do. Ryan and I were on a mission to find a certain type of candy at the candy store and it was probably too late to call you once we got done. Still didn't find that candy :grumpy:.

WOW! Looks great! It's so shiny! I'm sure who ever will get the wig will be very very appreciative :). What a great thing to do!

ALI! That's GORGEOUS! Do you feel like someone took a weight off your back? It looks SO much more healthy now! I'm so proud of you!

Zin, you're a nut! LOL!

You have beautiful hair! I've heard of "Locks of Love". Bless you for doing such a wonderful thing. :);)

It is almost 20 years my great grandma died from cancer. My family has fought cancer so much that I had to do something in honor of her and the rest of my family.

The whole time she was cutting it she was like...

"Your hair is so healthy,"

"Your don't put anything in it."

"Your hair is so pretty."

It was nerve wrecking before I sat down. When I did in my head I told my great-grandma that I loved her and missed her. Than I felt just fine. I did it for the best reason possible so how could it be wrong.

Thank you! Yes big weight, though very odd. I didn't know how heavy my hair is.

Alicia, what an awesome thing to do, what an amazing gift! I knew you were going to be doing it, but seeing these pics really shows how beautiful the end result is!

And what's left is still amazingly gorgeous!

You've definitely made somebody very happy -- happier than most of the others in the same position. ;)

:hugsquish:

sas :big kiss:

PS: I've been trying to reply to this in some form or another for days!

Thank you. I should take pictures of it up.

I had to buy all new hair ties and clips. All the ones I had were jumbo for all my hair! They kept falling out.

Alicia you are #1! Thank you for sacrificingyour beautiful hair. The new you is even more beautiful and sophisticated. I am overwhelmed by your generosity. As a 4 year cancer survivor I cannot tell you how horrible it is to have all your hair fall out in great big handfuls from treatment 9 head hair, eye brows, everywhere...). All I had to do was shake my head a ittle and I left piles of hair everywhere. It is, to me, the final crowning blow of humiliation to someone who is literally deathly ill. And yes, there are very cruel people who make fun of bald women with cancer.

Having a cancer wig sylist come and work with a people in treatment is wonderful. They do the most amazing work in either matching your former hair or making a whole new look. I applaud your selflessness and generosity! You're my hero!
