My bunny is currently receiving treatment for mites. His nose started to get crust and dried. What concerns me the most is that he has black parts in his nose. Could it be caused by mites or a different condition? I just took him to the vet and 2 days later the black thing appeared.

What's he being treated with for the mites, and it's been two days since the first treatment? Did the vet do a skin scrape or biopsy, to verify it is mites and not another skin condition? The black could possibly be dried blood from the burrowing mites, if that's what's going on. But there are other skin conditions that can cause similar problems with the skin, such as fungal dermatitis.
