Crosspost: Shipping Guinea pigs?

This is a crosspost from the breeder section because I know some of y'all have guinea pigs and might know of guinea pig forums...

I have received rabbits before from Frontier Airlines - I forget who the airline approved carriers were by. I know one source is KW Cages.

What I am wondering is....has anyone else ever shipped rabbits before? If so...

a. what airlines would you recommend?

b. Do you know if guinea pigs can be shipped? (What do they need to be shipped in)

Just a thought, but maybe it could be asked in a other few places as well:

a) Cavy sites

b) Look for cavy breeders to email about it

c) Other bun sites? Any Yahoo Groups?
