can you get a picture front on so you can see his mane more?
he poses nice sits up well but you could do with shortening his length of body by pushing it in more so the back feet are closer to the front feet more how a nethie would sit.
Over here anyway Lionheads should be cobby and sit short. also sitting up to show off the mane and chest fur.
looks nice though pretty clear over his back ( we get to many that are almost wooly showing over here)
I think he maybe lacks in mane a bit but it would be easier to see if the pic showed his head more
Is he sooty fawn? (not sure if you call it that over there)
I see long ears and a long body. It is hard to tell much from his pose but it looks like his bum chops off, too. I find that very comman in Lionheads here.
Like Polly said, we need a front view, too.
He is a blue tort, and very hansom. I love lionheads but the fight with retaining the mane is to much for me. Just an aggervating fight, even with great lines.
ah ok I think your blue tort is our sooty fawn sorry i didnt know the name for it over there lol
also not sure on american standard over here ears are allowed to be 3.5" long fully grown with nethies their ears grow till they are 12 weeks old them stop completeley and the body gorws in round the ears!
How crimped is the mane hair? I can always remember Peg (Tinys mm) saying the more crimped it is the more mane it will retain
Lol That is perfectly fine Polly. He isn't real good at the handling yet so it is sorta hard to pose him. I hope these show his head a little better. His mane definetly isn't as long as Abbys is when hers isn't cut.
Here's Abby.
Thanks a bunch April. I am still trying to get Gibbs to bond with me but so far he isn't having it. Abby, on the other hand, is my shadow bun. She will follow me from room to room. She isn't much of a cuddler and doesn't care for being held for long but she sure loves being near us and amusing the crapola out of us with her antics. Plus she gives the sweetest licks and is a good little head butter. Lol.
Sorry Polly just saw the mane question. It's pretty crimped looking but shorter than Abbys. But Abby was older when I got her so I am not sure if she looked like him when she was his age. The other thing that astounds me is the size difference between the 2. She is so small and he is quite a bit bigger already and much, much heavier.
I love reading your stories about Abby! She's a character. Gibbs will come around too.Iwas gonna say on the other thread, how cute it is, how your son is with the bunnies My daughter who is 5 yrs old, isn't confident enough to hold the bunnies like he does. I think they scare her a little.
