LOL - I closed it, opened it to add that I was closing it... and decided to reclose.

I sat here for a few minutes trying to figure out how to respond - and which smilies would be acceptable...

In all, there were great talking points in the thread, and as I've been keeping a pretty close eye on it - I think it ended in timely fashion.

I've pm'd you privately about the fact I hope you don't stay away long - or at all.

I honestly was enjoying the discussion and took away from it many things to think about and reflect on. I spent over an hour last night talking about this with Robin and trying to understand different perspectives and think through why I believe what I believe. I've got to say - some comments were shared that really made me think through some things...so I'm glad we had the discussion.

wow I totally missed that thread it all happens when I am out working Fran nothing to be going away for everyone behaved very well over it. religion, sexuality etc are always going tomake for an interesting discussion.

People are never going to see eye to eye over things, but the great thing about RO is that these things are usually discussed honestly, and people are able to say what they think etc without it getting nastly/personal or totally blown out of all proportion, which I could quite well imagine happening on other forums :?

i liked the discussion , i love when , for the most part, a Hot topic can be discussed. I dont see eye to eye with some and some dont see eye to eye with me but it is so refreshing that some people can have adult conversation without hair pulling and smacking. You dont see that too often in message boards.

I stayed away from the thread cause I didn't want to have any issues with anyone either way. I tend to be a very liberal conservative LOL!

Anyhow, Fran, Please don't feel like you have to leave for any time at all. Nothing is that bad - if someone bothers you - report it - best to ignore it if you can.
