Attached are some pics of my girl Alaska. I have no idea of her breed/s, and would love some insight if anyone could offer it. She's 13 months old, weight 4.5lbs and is pure white, no other colors on her, with blue eyes. The only things that I have been told about her are 1- her ears are too big for her body and 2- a vet tech said that he thought that she had Dutch characteristics. I thought that she would have distinct markings even if she was only part Dutch, but I have no idea on these things. Well, here's my girl, any thoughts would be much appreciated :)

The last pic is when she was about 6 months old, but I put it in here in case looking at foot size would help.I thought that I had way more pics in my photobucket account...guess I was wrong. If anyone needs more shots to help identify her let me know and I'll get some more on here. Thanks for looking!

Her fine bone structure really reminds me of a Polish, however she's too large. Her very fine wedge-shaped head is a Brit. Petite characteristic, but once again, she's way too large.

Possible Mini Rex mix? BEW is a recently new color in the Mini Rex. Perhaps someone crossed in Polish to get the BEW color. I think this might be the most likely scenario.

Her longer, finer characteristics are classic Asian mix, but you're not in Asia. ;) Possible Himalayan mixed in????? (She does have a longer body structure as well as the fine bone). Belgian Hare influence in her distant background could also have attributed to her finer bone.

I really don't think there's any Dutch influence.

Really don't have any good solid guesses, but she is a very elegant, beautiful creature. My guess is "Mystery Mix" LOL

She and Elvis do look alike! It looks like he has a little bit of eyelilner on one eye and nothing on the other. He's a beautiful bun. Don't you wish you could really capture how pretty blue eyed buns really are, instead of the dreaded red eye :grumpy:

Pam, thank you very much for looking at her and giving me your input. She may be Asian...one of her favorite veggies is Bok Choy:D I've always thought that she looked very elegant too! When I first got her I thought that she was a BEW mini-rex, I thought that all the way up until I adoped Gixxer from Animal Control. Now that I know what Rex fur feels like there's no mistaking it. Oh well, mystery mix it is! Guess she's one of a kind made just for me :)

Her body shape in that second pic does look dutch to me too, but without the markings. I fostered a dutch for a short time and he had the same body. I don't know the terminolgy but he had the big butt, and then defined waist and shoulders where many buns just look like one big hump in that position. I swear if you drew a line down her middle and painted her back end black she would look just like him. Wish I still had his pics...Pam is the resident expertso the world may never know.;) She is gorgeous though. :)
