Well I decided I should start a blog about my rescue so people can see the bunnies that I have looking for homes. My rescue is located in Northford, Ct and all the bunnies are spayed/neutered and litter box trained before adoption. This is the first bunny of the blog....West Haven Boys....
These two 6 month old mini rex bunnies came into the rescue from the west haven animal shelter. They where dropped off with 6 other bunnies, the guy who dropped them off was just an unresponsable person who was just letting his rabbits breed and didn't want them anymore.
These two boys are a jet black color with the most velvety fur. They both have really different personalities, one is very mellow and sweet. He will let you hold him with no problem.
The other one is very spunky, has alot of energy. He is a little cage aggressive and will grunt at you if you try to clean his cage while he is in it. But he is also a good boy when he is out running.

it's a pity (or good thing) that im on the other side of the pond - that is one very appealing bunny - especially in the third pic. looks just like my rexes

i have to say, i am not really a fan of mini rex.

but these 2 are just wow! beautifull! i LOVE black animals. and pair that up with rex fur. my brother had a black mini rex buck named ace that looked very similar, and he was one of the only mini rex that i adored!

Well here is another bunny in our rescue. He is a California rabbit and has been in the rescue since he was 6 months old. He is now around 2 years. He is a very sweet boy but no one is really interested in him. He came from an owner surrender with his two sisters and brother who have all found homes. Now Hansel needs his new home. He will let you home him and really likes other female bunnies. He would bea really good bonding bunny for a spayed female. He is a submissive bunny and sometimes scared at times. Litter box trained and neutered.

I don't have many pictures of him, need to get some new ones.

He is so adorable. I can't beleive he hasn't been rehomed yet!! I would adopt him. He's a doll.

Thanks...yea I hope hansel finds a home soon too. He is such a sweet heart. His sister just found a home about 1 month ago and she is was also in the rescue for 2 years so I have faith he will find a home soon.

Those are beautiful bunny's, good luck finding them homes. I am glad you are doing this work, rabbits are often forgotten when people are looking for pets.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the two black mini rex's found homes.
Here is another bunny looking for a home. His name is Tanner.
Tanner is an 8 month old Dwarf mix. He is neutered and litter box trained. Tanner is around 4 1/2 pounds and wont get any bigger.
Tanner came into the rescue with his brother when they where left in a box in front of a vet office. His brother found a home and now he is looking for his forever home.
