Constant thumping tonight

Tippy's only thumped like 3 or 4 times ever.
She's sitting here thumping every minute or so. Won't let me pet her.

It's thundering but it has been all day and she's been fine with it.
Now it's quiet and distant. Could that be bothering her? It never does.

I'm worried!

Has there been any change? Even something tiny as a different purse on the sofa or a umbrella? Shopping bag? The littlest thing can set them off.

Nope. She's been fine all day. Nothing has changed. I haven't moved, the music hasn't changed. She's constantly thumping.

The thumping seems to have eased. She's still super spooked. She's hopping slowly, one hop at a time, fully stretched out, looking around before each hop. Still the occasional thump, but not every 20 seconds like she's been doing for half an hour.

Poor bugface. No idea what her issue is, but she's not pleased.

I GOT IT!
I went to my friend's place tonight and she gave me two little canvases (she's an artist). I hung them above Tippy's cage while she was asleep.

She woke up and began thumping. I'd forgotten about those.

I took them down and not even 30 seconds later, she was in the cage, eating hay. Haven't gotten a thump from her since.

Interior designer bunny is picky about her art. She should be a gorilla grrl.

Harvey did that too me once. However I never figured out what spooked him. But I had to let him out of his cage and he hid under the bed for a little bit. I figured once he had dead bunny flopped in the living room he was fine and I could sleep. That was the night I went to bed early to get some much needed sleep and he woke me from a dead sleep from thumping. Got back to sleep at 2. Who needs sleep haha.
