Confused Doe

Star is an 8 month old lionhead. She is due on the 28th. And im 95% sure she took. When i went in to feed today,she has tons of bald spots! Her chest,belly,back legs, and the bottems of her sides. It looks like she pulled tons of hair,BUT theirs no hair in her cage. She must of ate it?? This will be her first litter. She is acting fine,eating,drinking etc.. She must just be a little confused?

I would think that it is too early for her to be pulling fur. My does, even the first time does, dont pull fur until the night they have their babies. Have you checked her for life or mites of some sort?

Is there hair on the floor or under the cage in the pan?

No she does not have mites.

Nope their is no hair any where. None in her cage or the tray.

I would look to it being something else. Thats an awful lot of hair to eat.

Here is a pic of her belly.Their are no bald spots where she cant reach. Where she can reach its bald! And i know its not lice/mites because alot of my does run around my rabbity a couple times of week.and if she had it im sure some of the other 30 would.

Star had a litter of 5...lost them all to the cold. She had them today on her 29th day she was due the 28th. I didnt put i nestbox in, i was on going out to but her box in. She is very sad. As am i. I have never lost babies to the cold.She had a nest made but they were all over.I was out their last night at 11:00, and she was eating and acting normal,who would of nown.
