Bun Bun is gettin' old, she's almost 10 years old and lived a very healthful life! But suddenly I've noticed that she has a crookedness in her head. Not head tilt or anything similar, just a crooked cheek... For an example it looks exactly like this rabbit in this forum if you scroll down a little: http://www.bunspace.com/forum/thread?tid=6645&posts_tgp_no=last

Anyway, I checked her teeth and they seem to be perfect. I couldn't see farther in the back of her mouth but by the quality of her front teeth I would he surprised if that were the problem. Her ears also seem clean, but she is losing fur around one of her eyes. No sign of mites just moisture I think clearing it away. Help please!!! I know she is old but she does not deserve to suffer and I'm stumped! :?

The nerve is probably damaged from an infection. Darry's face is like that now and it's from an inner ear infection. I'd get her her in a treated right away with an aggressive regiment of antibiotics. You can't always see infections in the ears or teeth. Sometimes the vet can't see them either. Best to treat regardless.

It may be bells palsy from an injury, toxins or something, but more likely from an infection, and I wouldn't take a chance.

She may not be showing symptoms, but that's typical. Once they do it means they're very ill.

Yes, I second what Pipp said. My bunny got this when she had an inner/middle ear infection and nerve damage. I'd agree-I'd get her on an *aggressive* antibiotic reginment right away if there's infection-I wish we'd originally tried stronger antibiotics with my bunny.
