Hello.
I have a 4 months old female dutch and I'm thinking about getting her spayed in a couple of months because hearing about cancer in unspayed females scares me to death, but there's just one problem.
Using a cone after the surgery is a real big problem to me because my baby just won't accept literally ANYTHING getting attached to her. Doesn't matter what is is, a piece of cloth, a ribbon, harness, anything that gets attached to her that she can't get rid of terrifies her. Even once she starting squealing hysterically and running around madly that worried me about hurting herself really bad.
And I must mention that we're absolutely bonded and it doesn't have anything to do about trust issues.
So using cones and any alternative will be a problem and I have no idea if she can go through the recovery without it.
I'll be glad about any advice about getting her neutered or not
