Comfort Harness

Hi Everyone,

I was wanting to get a harness for Beebo so he can hop around outside. I was looking at this one:

What do you think? Anyone else have this kind?

Had one - never again, the only time I used it was to get him used to it. The buckles broke, the velcro got mucky and now neither work. He chewed it up whilst wearing it and it was difficult to get on him. Oh and it didnt give much support for a tugging rabbit I prefer the H harnesses like this one: http://www.pets-warehouse.com/vpasp/shopexd.asp?id=135377.

I had one of those also - the buns HATED it. It was difficult to get on them, difficult to adjust, and the buns kept getting tangled up in the leash. Never again. I would recommend an x-pen if you want to bring Beebo outside to play.

We have one for Magic. It is hard to get on them but it is awesome! You
don't have to worry about it choking them and the leash can be removed so
your rabbit can just wear the harness. The leash is stretchable. I like ours and
plan on getting a couple more, plus a few h-harnesses. We also have the other
stringy type which can choke your rabbits easier unless securely locked.

We bought a couple of those, thinking that getting a bunny on a leash would be the same as getting a dog on a leash. Well, when we first secured Ronnie in the harness he slipped out no problem. So we put it on a little tighter the second time. Ronnie freaked out and started jumping, slamming his head into the wall :shock:. We grabbed him right away and removed the harness and never put it on him again.

I tried it. William is good about things like this. He sits still easily so it was OK to get on him. However the velcro comes undone easily and because it is covering alot of their body they just don't like it. William got on fine with a 2 loop harness however. I find it much easier to use.

We tried them for Pumpkin. She sat still as anything while we were putting in on her. Great, I thought. She's gonna like this. Right!!! The moment we put her on the floor, she was Crazy Bunny! Flew around the room like a lunatic, flailing and flipping until she got herself out of it. Then, when it was off, she calmly hopped back to her cage and gave us "the butt" for the rest of the evening. So much for the harness for her!

lilangelhotots - I bought that exact one for Baxter! but couldn't get him to sit still long enough to get it on him so if you want mine I'll be more than happy to pop it in the mail or fedex it to you for free! I'd like at least some bun to get to use it..
