Color Question

Well, my cousin who lives next to me has bunnies. He and I were talking and someone tried to sell him a bunny and told him it was a rare color and it was a "BLUE SPLASH...... something?" but he couldn't remember.

I told him that didn't sound like anything I've ever heard of.... and I'd see if any breeders or anyone could help at all.

I also told him it is probably a line of B/S

From a quick Google search it looks like blue splash is a color terminology for chickens :huh

A "BLUE SPLASH"? OK..... never heard that one before in reference to rabbits.....

Blue Broken,Blue Blanket,Blue Booted, Blue Crackle... If you get an idea of what he was refering to, I'd be interested to hear it.

Yep, Heard that about chickens. I asked him if he meant Broken Blue? and he said "No, they said it was a blue splash something and it was very very rare"..... Apparently so rare no one who really knows about rabbits have heard of them.

Yeah-I raise chickens and blue splash is a poultry color, but never heard of it on a rabbit. Hmmmmmmm
