College!

I just felt like sharing but I got accepted into the college that I have wanted to go to for the past couple years today. SUNY Canton; State University of New York. I am so happy. I filled out the early admissions application and am now in. Since I didn't do 3 years of regents math, only two, I am going for the one year pre-vet program then going into the associates degree for veterinary tech, THEN going to Cornell for veterinarian. (If I keep my grades up, which I should be able to.) I'm a happy camper and so is my Momma. I start Fall of 2013. Sorry if this is random.

Not random at all...that is wonderful!!! You should be very proud of yourself and congratulations. It is so inspiring to hear a young person excited for their future and have a plan like yours.

I like school. I like to learn about stuff I like. Half my day I spend at BOCES in a Plant Animal Life Science class.

I'm 21 and HOPING to have my GED by spring, then maybe enroll in community college by fall, so maybe we'll both be college "kids" at the same time

Dropping out has been the biggest mistake I've ever made -.- Getting a job without a GED or Diploma? Fuhgeddaboudit.

Congratulations! I just started college too, took a year out last year when I finished school. I'm studying animal science this year and then will be going on to become a veterinary nurse. Enjoy college!

Congrats! I did my undergrad in upstate and had a lot of friends who were in the CUNY system. Don't know anyone who goes to that one, but I'm sure you'll love it!
