so i worked college night at my high school for NHS hours, and i went and talked to the Michigan State guy. (that is where i am going to go. only place i am gonna apply to!) i talked to him a bit and when i got home i went on their website to learn more about their zoology program.
i looked and i saw the general stuff, then i saw they had different concentrations. i looked, then at the bottom of the page was ZOO AND AQUARIUMS. i practically screamed. it is TOTALLY WHAT I WANT TO DO!! My dream job is to be a marine mammal trainer, but if i can't get that job, as its really competitive, i would like to be a zoo keeper.
oh and i am pretty much in love with the Spartan marching band, and i will totally cry if i don't make it. They are soo awsome. my sister is in it, and i am just AMAZED at them.
oh, and if you ask why not be a vet? well, i don't do well with blood, or ooze, or gross cuts and stuff. also, as a vet you only see them for about 20 minutes once a year. I want to work with the animals and have a relationship with them. i have dreamed of being shamu's trainer since i was little. now my dream may be starting to come true!!
