Well, I have been looking over my calendar and August 15 and 16th are so busy I cannot do everything and have no help.

My son is supposed to show his goat and sheep those days at the State Fair. (Don't mind the fact that the goat has a problem with a teat and we need to have it fixed, and one of the sheep's banding must not have taken cause he's still a ram!)

They go in on the 14th, show 15th and 16th and come home those days as well.....

Also on the 15th, I purchased tickets for a concert for Lexi and I. She has begged me for 2 years to see Nickelback and so I got decent seats and she's very excited...... I am going to have my niece take her now but they will have fun..... I will not :nerves1 LOL.

To round off the weekend, my son is supposed to move into his dorm at Purdue.

Hubby is out of town and will not be home those days.

Guess I'm emailing everyone to try to help us through this....

Purdue is about 2 hours from our State Fairgrounds I guess.... so this isn't something we can just do......

Ideas?

Oh man... that is one tight weekend.

Anyone that can help with the goat show on a day or two? Your SIL or other family members?

Wish I was closer - I would be glad to help out!

Not sure! I think I'm going to call Purdue and see if we can move in without him there Sunday sometime... and then he can catch up on Sunday night when he's done with the animals.

You're so kind! Thank you for saying you'd help! I might see if someone can go help him on Sunday if this all works out!

That week is also Lexi's first in school for the year and a horse show that we will not be going to.

Ya know, tho..... I'm feeling all this stress BUT when we went to the barn yesterday and had to put new shavings in the stall..... all that stuff goes away! Dakota rolls at least 2 or 3 times when he gets fresh shavings.... Nothing like a big horsie tummy in the air to make you smile! I need to get a video! LOL!

Mercy had a videographer and photographer taking pics of her painting for ther local newspaper. I told them that since I got her cleaned up, she would then go in and roll in the dustiest spot she could find.

Sure enough, she did and the cameras were rolling and clicking. Then she stood up and dropped to the other side but that view was a bit x-rated :blushan::scared: (full under the tail view).

I told them, she's a typical celebrity - not modest about keeping her skirts down when there is a camera around.

Amazing how they can quickly calm our moods...
