I'm bored this morning, so I decided to start a thread about people's collections of stuff. Talk about it, post pictures, etc!

Have at it! (I have some stuff, but I need to get the pictures on the computer).

i have started collecting fans.

ohh! i collect key chains too! i have like 25 on my backpack, and you can hear me comming down the halls, lol. after i got back from japan, i didn't want them to get ruined on my backpack so i put some nails on my wall and i hang some from there...will have to take a pic.

Aha! Finally I got around to getting these pictures up and on the computer! :)

I collect Oriental (Asian (Chinese/Japanese)) items. Mine & Will's bedroom is Asian themed. Here's what I have (for the most part):

Main soapstone shelf (in hallway outside of bedroom)

More soapstone carvings on top of TV (and bamboo-style candle holder!)

Mini-soapstone carving shelf. This one has my Chinese zodiac figures on it. There are a few toss-ins, too, but they are mostly the zodiac.

Wall hangings/plaques. I have two more that still need to be hung up.

Wall scroll 1/3 (mountain waterfall).

Wall scroll 2/3 (birds)

Wall scroll 3/3 (koi)

Giant flippin' fan above the bed. The bed is a full-size, and you can see the bedposts. It gives you an idea of how big it is lol

I also have a panda wall calendar (2007 was Buddha), some Asian-ish lamps, candle holders, dragon incense burner, Terra-cotta dude, bamboo print quilt, and all sorts of other little items scattered around the house (ginger jars, etc.). I also am helping my mum expand her Japanese "hina" doll collection (from the Girl's Day Festival in Japan). They will be my collection someday, anyways. My sisters HATE Asian dolls. I love them. Most of them are from the Meiji period (late 1800's-1912). I also am starting a collection of netsuke beads. :)

My other collections (from the past) are Breyer model-horses, Swarovskii crystal figures, dolls (thanks, mom *eyeroll*), and other random collectibles.

Currently I'm collecting time, been awake for 29 hours :grumpy:, it's 3:39am here.

I don't collect objects/items, bunches of similar things are sort of spooky.

I have a few things like this, i love these.

I love them! I mainly (now) collect ones that are unique or a really good deal :p. The unique ones I've recently found were a turtle-dragon, a horse-dragon, a Buddha relaxing in almost a "sexy" pose, a chicken with funny feathers, etc. I go to Chinatown in Chicago for most of my pieces. I get frustrated though, 'cause they only have two rabbit figures... I have them both, but still. I'm the "rabbit" in the Chinese zodiac, too. *pouts* I can't get a ton of rabbits.....

Pinksalamander, I <3 your duckie collection! ^_^ I also love those noodle-y looking thingies that are hanging down from the shelf ^_^
The noodley things are pipecleaners. Me and my cousin put on a puppet type show thing, and they were the characters. I have no idea where they've gone, I probably chucked them. This photos was taken ages ago!

Fran :) :hearts :brownbunny

I collect Japanese bento (lunch) boxes. Most of the ones I have feature a bunny in the designs. I don't have a photo of them all together, but here are a few of my favorites:
