Hey There Everyone!
I thought I'd start a blog for Cocoa and Bella!
Well, here is the story of how we got the girls. In September 2008 our two pet rats Kingston and Templeton passed away. (They were such friendly animals, very gentle natured and quite friendly much like bunnies) We were quite upset with their passing. About a month goes by and we're in the mall looking around and we stop at a pet store. Go to look in and ooh and aww at the cute animals when we come across the bunny section.
We first noticed Coca (our Mini Rex) , she's got gorgeous fur that's a light beige and it looks like her eyes are outlined in white eyeliner. She's beautiful. Very affectionate and friendly. The minute my husband Gabe saw her, he had to have her.
Then I saw my little Bella (our Netherland Dwarf). She was hopping around with a darker grey bunny and was just cutest thing I ever saw. I picked her up and I was just taken with her. She hops around like she owns the place. She has such a spunk about her.
We brought them home and gave them the run of the bedroom. Cocoa decided that she was going to check every inch of the place out. My husband used to play net in hockey and his pads were leaned against the corner, when Cocoa found them she ran up one of the legs and slid down the other. She was so thrilled she kept doing it over and over again. Just up one side and sliding down on the other.
Bella was more cautious, she'd check things out but slower and more carefully. She found our cabinet and went and hid under it for awhile. Every so often you'd see a little grey nose poke out and then the ears and she'd dart around. The best part was when she got on the computer desk and hid by the printer. She loved that.
That's Bella by the printer.
Bella playing peek-a-boo.
Bella discovering the printer.
Sleepy Bella.
Now onto some of Cocoa! Mind you, I couldn't get a lot because this bunny is always on the go!
Cocoa exploring.
Cocoa finding out what's beyond the side table.
Cocoa checking out the puppies.
